Man’s Use of community buildings the Tower of Babel

Today I was studying the Tower of Babel one oman’s attempt to make a name for himself by building a great city with a great tower, the tallest tower in the World.  When God saw their hearts he said let us go down and confuse their language because if they all speak the same tongue there is nothing they cannot do.  I am not proposing that Man can achieve omnipotence through.

Historical representation of the Tower of Babel

The God of Abraham, Jacob and Israel is a jealous God and will have no other gods before Him as He clearly states in the beginning of the 10 commandments.  His desire is to be in relationship with us in His harmony living as we were originally designed to live forever.  this is an illustration of Man trying to worship himself and the work of his own hands.

Modern Towers of Babel

Today we are still trying to build Great Cities, nations, governments and Towers to make a name for ourselves.

We take self governance to extremes and put our faith in ourselves and follow the creed “if you can dream it you can achieve it”  or as the original quote  If you can dream it, then you can achieve it. You will get all you want in life if you help enough other people get what they want. Zig Ziglar

Can we build anything more beautiful than the World God created with His own hands?  Why do we worry so much when the Creator has us in his hands.  We need to be Arkeon, content, relying on His provision because He has promised us to provide for all of our needs.  We need to live our lives in confidence through Faith, boldly sharing His love and gifts of grace.
